I began my design career in commercial interiors, soon discovering that my passion for fabric, colour and texture is naturally suited to residential interior design. My training was at Limited Editions, Wellington’s most highly regarded design studio, and after managing their Kapiti Coast branch for 2 years I opened my own studio in Waikanae in 2000. I have recently relocated my business to Havelock North in the lovely Hawkes Bay.

My involvement in a project would include colour planning, flooring selection, lighting design, furnishings, furniture and options for materials, finishes, fixtures and accessories that work within the design scheme and the colour palette. I can also manage the project if required.

I have a network of specialists including kitchen and bathroom designers, joiners, cabinet makers and tradesmen who perform the many tasks required in interior design projects.

My fee structure is an hourly rate with a percentage mark up on furniture, furnishings and accessories. Following an initial consultation, for which I do not charge, a project fee is arranged and a budget agreed.
